Job requirements

About The Role

Accounts Receivable Specialist provide administrative & bookkeeping support while streamlining the financial recordkeeping. You will responsible for managing all communications relating to invoices and incoming bills and will work with the accounting team and other departments to balance company financial records. You will maintain knowledge of company bookkeeping policies, audit business ledgers, organize invoices and begin the collections process for client accounts with past-due balances. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

YOU WILL:

  • Verify validity of account/payment discrepancies to resolve issues by obtaining and investigating information received from customers and sales department
  • Research misapplied payments, overpayments, deductions/credits and work with Staff Accountants to reconcile accounts
  • Review A/R portfolio for small balance write-offs
  • Proactively engage with customers when they are past due via email and phone
  • Prepare and send out invoices as needed
  • Send Customers Monthly Billing Statements

YOU HAVE/ARE:

  • Strong attention to detail with a dedication to accuracy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent Analytical Skills and ability to analyze large sets of data
  • High degree of familiarity with accounts receivable functions
