F. Schumacher & Co., America’s leading name for manufacturing and distributing fabric, wallcovering, floorcovering, and furnishings is seeking a Business Systems Analyst based out of our New York City office. This person will be responsible for supporting all departments with a focus on Warehouse Management Systems. This is an exciting and highly visible position that plays an important role in supporting the company’s success. The right Business Systems Analyst is a quick learner who is open to change and resourceful in finding solutions.


This position will work within the Enterprise Systems team. They will have the autonomy to solve difficult business problems through technology. The Candidate should have strong communication skills and be comfortable working with all levels of stakeholders within the company. This is a Remote role performing the following:

  • Identify and resolve both software and process related issues
  • Provide escalation support and coordination of business system issues ensuring a high level of responsiveness and satisfaction
  • Work with development team to QA and document solutions prior to going into production
  • Review SQL queries and C# Scripts for troubleshooting purposes
  • Provide recommendations for process and system improvements
  • Work with internal and external partners to design and develop business system processes and procedures
  • Perform and coordinate upgrades, maintenance, and hot fix releases
  • Act as team lead for large implementations working closely with IT, Business Transformation and Operation teams

Job requirements

YOU HAVE/ARE:

  • Project Management, Implementations, and support throughout all phases of SDLC
  • Self-Starter with strong communication skills that works well within a team
  • Ability to balance rapidly changing priorities, deliverables, and timetable
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
  • 2+ years of experience working with Enterprise Software preferably SaaS solutions (WMS, ERP, EMR, CRM)
  • Experience with Dynamics GP and/or Salespad a plus
  • Critical thinking; organization and prioritization of tasks. Ability to manage multiple projects at once with competing deadlines
  • Flexible work schedule, including availability after hours including some holidays and weekends
