About The Role
Our sales marketing team is looking to add a creative and analytical Content and Email Marketing Manager with strong writing
skills and a passion for interior design to the team to lead the production of our digital content. The position will report to our Senior Director of Sales Marketing.

-Lead the development of digital content that achieve audience and sales goals by driving site traffic, increasing brand/product awareness, increasing conversions, generating leads and nurturing prospects
-Manage the editorial calendars for Schumacher’s Style Dispatch newsletter to the interior design trade and enthusiast audience and
Schumacher’s blog, The Memo
-Write copy for inspiring interior design-focused editorial and product- oriented emails and SEO-friendly blog articles and landing pages about our product and brand
-Assign select blog and email content out to freelance writers
-Source high-quality, on-brand, inspirational install imagery for blog posts, emails, product detail pages and landing pages
-Oversee creative direction for emails in partnership with our Art team
-Be the expert on our marketing automation platform, Marketo, meeting regularly with our rep, troubleshooting any issues and finding new ways to leverage available tools
-Build and schedule 4-5 emails and 1-2 blog posts weekly
-Report weekly and monthly on email marketing and blog performance, taking initiative to improve key KPIs
-Conceptualize, execute and manage email automation programs/trigger emails to increase trade member applications, conversions and engagement
-Liaise with our SEO agency and Product team, supporting content- oriented SEO updates for
-Lead production of our product romance copy on a strict timeline, scheduling in-person romance meetings to review upcoming product releases, managing freelancer writers and proofreaders, making SEO edits, and submitting copy to our Merchandising team
-Partner with Senior Director of Sales Marketing and UX designer to conceptualize new landing pages oriented toward lead generation, search-oriented topics, collection launches, and brand education/announcements
-Enjoy bringing Schumacher’s brand voice and style authority to life in new ways

Job requirements

Job requirements

-5 years relevant experience in editorial or content marketing and/or email marketing
-Excellent writing and communication skills
-A passion for interior design and a strong visual eye
-Experience working for a design or lifestyle publication or brand
-Email marketing experience—bonus for email automation/trigger email experience!
-Familiarity with Marketo (and other email service providers) and Wordpress a plus
-An understanding of Schumacher’s brand, product and product
-Highly visual, organized and efficient
-Creative and strategic thinker with high attention to detail and management skills
-Ability to handle multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
