Digital Print Operator

To further advance our growth, FSCO is adding a Digital Print Associate to join a small, yet dynamic team. You will be responsible for the production of all digital print jobs-ensuring projects are completed on time, while meeting company standards. You are confident working quickly and intuitively, making real-time decisions to maximize both time and quality.You will have exposure to all aspects of digital printing from ideation to production,providing a unique environment for collaboration and growth.

YOU WILL:

• Oversee the production of all print jobs
• Utilize both customer facing and internal tools to oversee print log
• Set up PDF files through company rip software
• Maximize machine efficiency and minimize waste through efficient use of substrates
• Perform regular maintenance on all machinery, both preventative and troubleshooting
• Inspect all print jobs ensuring highest quality standards are met
• Update job status and location in production software
• Monitor color consistency, making adjustments when necessary
• Analyze data to streamline process
• Maintain current and complete knowledge of all equipment and software
• Organize/prepare completed product for shipping
• Monitor all printer supplies,reordering as needed
• Calibrate all color devices as required to maintain color consistency

• Strong project management and planning skills

• Detail oriented, organized and thorough, in all aspects of process and communication
• A flexible work style and the ability to multi-task
• Ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure while staying organized
• Flexible in work schedule to meet demand surges
• Collaborative, with the ability to work across multiple creative and functional departments
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs., will be required to load/unload printer 

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Wide format digital print experience, latex experience a plus
• Photoshop, Illustrator, Onyx, Caldera.AVA a plus
