Schumacher has myriad showrooms in the United States and nationally, as well as a best-in-class website.


Our Schumacher Team is seeking a Managing Director for our Tri-State region which will be based in New York, NY and serves our clients in the Tri-State. This person will travel up to 35% to other parts of the region.


YOU WILL:

-Effectively manage the team working within the showroom and the outside  sales team

-Manage the budget for the region

-Create and execute business development strategies for the entire region

-Oversee and perform daily showroom tasks including but not limited to fulfilling memo requests, redesigning wings, updating product, managing inventory, and maintaining the overall visual merchandising aesthetic.

-Cultivate relationships that convert to sales within the design communities of

the region

-Identify new revenue streams and maximize the potential of current streams

-Utilize and expand Schumacher’s presence through online and digital

channels (social media, etc.)

-Analyze KPIs and key metrics to predict achievements and improvements of  individual team members and the region

-Uphold Schumacher vales and maintain an innovative, collaborative, results  driven culture within your territory.



Job requirements

YOU HAVE/ARE:

-Proven ability to establish, orchestrate, and execute a multi-brand account strategy in the interior design market

-Managed multiple employees with the expertise to coach, teach, train, and motivate people towards a common goal

-Proficient in tracking the sales metrics of a team, creating marketing strategies to achieve goals, and assessing individual sales performance.

-Entrepreneurial minded and competitively driven with the strategy to expand a client base and grow existing accounts

-Problem solving capabilities that allow for leadership in an innovative and rapidly changing environment

-Knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the luxury interior design industry
