Our sales marketing team is looking to add a creative and analytical Pinterest Marketing Manager with a passion for interior design to the team to lead the strategy and execution of our Pinterest marketing efforts.
YOU WILL:
- Lead the strategic vision of Schumacher's Pinterest marketing channel
- Expand social media following, engagement, sales and revenue driven by Pinterest, setting clear KPIs to evaluate success
- Create, edit, and publish original and curated daily multi-format pins (video, rich pins, idea pins, collection pins) and monthly boards
- Manage content calendar: source, permission, schedule and caption content
- Work with in-house/freelance graphic designers to produce relevant, engaging and high-style pins that serve both sales and brand goals
- Identify and incorporate new trends and formats in the Pinterest landscape, continually testing and learning to help drive relevancy and engagement
- Be the arbiter of best practices for Pinterest, ensuring all published content is consistent with platform guidelines and brand standards
- Develop and present weekly and monthly reports, evaluating key KPIs for sales and brand performance, providing insights and recommendations
- Develop Pinterest ad creative for our agency partner, working closely to support advertising needs
- Oversee community management, addressing and escalating comments, questions and responses from the design-loving community
- Partner with Sales Marketing and Brand teams on content creation for shared campaigns
- Partner with our Artists & Artisans team to showcase the best of our Collaborator content
- Build positive relationships with consumers, influencers and industry professionals through thoughtful Pinterest partnerships and shared boards
- Meet regularly with our Pinterest rep, staying up to date on the platform’s latest capabilities
- Collaborate with our Product team to ensure our online store and other sales channels are optimized for social sharing
- Explore additional untapped channels (Houzz) to drive incremental revenue with sales marketing content
Job requirements
YOU HAVE/ARE:
3-5 years relevant experience in content and social media marketing
A passion for interior design and strong visual eye
Demonstrated understanding and experience maintaining and growing Pinterest and other social audiences, well versed in current and emerging platforms and trends, with in-depth knowledge of the latest best practices
Creative and strategic thinker with high attention to detail, process, and management skills
Strong writing skills and an aptitude for design and curation
Strong analytical skills and experience tracking, measuring and reporting
Experience creating branded content/working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
Ability to handle multiple priorities in a deadline driven environment
Open to feedback with a strong desire for learning and improvement
A solution-oriented, creative and resourceful problem solver
Self-motivated with strong project management skills
A great attitude—enjoys building and contributing to happy, high functioning teams
