About The Role

Our Sales Marketing department is looking to add a dynamic Social Media Sales Associate to the team. This role requires the ability to work quickly and wear many hats while overseeing multiple projects and meeting deadlines and goals. It will report to the Sales Marketing Director. Armed with a genuine interest in interior design, an eagerness to learn about marketing channels and the ability to conceptualize content that supports company goals, the right candidate will thrive in our fun and fast-paced environment.


YOU WILL:

  • Build and deploy a social media strategy (primarily Instagram) that engages local design communities; delivers targeted, hyper-relevant localized content; and drives customer acquisition, sales conversion, and awareness in local design communities in North America
  • Collaborate daily with Territory Managers and Account Executives to produce, deploy, manage and analyze local and regional social media content, maintaining constant communication with local audiences
  • Liaise with internal partners—including Sales Marketing team members and the national Social Media team—on strategy and execution of brand campaigns
  • Interview Sales stakeholders about best practices and current challenges in social media sales marketing
  • Manage creation of social media assets, including writing copy, researching imagery and designing Instagram Story graphics and GIFs
  • Develop a strong knowledge of local interior designers, key players, events and goings-on in all local design communities
  • Build relationships with like-minded local brands, publishers and industry insiders
  • Partner with Associate Marketing Manager on design center marketing campaigns
  • Monitor and analyze channel performance and maintain regular reporting
  • Test new and promising social media channels and platforms, regularly contributing ideas and insights to broaden Schumacher’s reach and traffic

Job requirements


YOU HAVE/ARE:

  • 2 years of marketing and/or editorial experience
  • An understanding of social media platforms like Instagram and Pinterest, as well as creative software like Adobe Creative Suite and analytics tools like Google Analytics, is a strong plus
  • Highly detail-oriented with the ability to think strategically about big-picture goals
  • A discerning eye and strong aesthetic sensibility
  • A knowledge of and passion for interior design
  • Ability to analyze, test, and measure data
  • A friendly demeanor and keen ability to develop relationships
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
