Patterson Flynn creates one-of-a-kind rugs and carpets that exude luxury and fine design. PF currently maintains 9 showrooms across the United States.

Patterson Flynn is excited add a highly organized, go-getting multitasker with a creative bent to its team. This position is a perfect way to get your start in an exciting creative environment by assisting both the Patterson Flynn Creative Director and the Patterson Flynn Studio.


  • Support Merchandising, Marketing, and Design team and company goals as needed, excitedly taking on new projects
  • Assist the PF Creative Director in all facets of their work – this includes but is not limited to managing calendars, travel, expenses, and ensuring that all requests are handled promptly and accurately
  • Create presentations using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Contribute to various creative projects such as assisting in the planning of marketing events and initiatives, preparing for photoshoots and organizing photography, executing industry focused trend and research projects, and compiling relevant design names
  • General studio maintenance including ordering office supplies, printing, setting up design boards, shipping, etc.
  • Oversee copyrighting of PF exclusive designs in partnership with cross-functional teams
  • Assist in invoicing and budget management

Job requirements


  • 0-2 years administrative experience
  • Highly organized
  • Strong ability to manage time and multiple high priority projects
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • A sense of urgency and willingness to take initiative and proactive
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
  • A “no-task-is-too-small” attitude and willingness to pitch in as needed
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure
  • A passion for interior design and a discerning eye
  • Ability to think critically about priorities and deadlines, keeping on task and on time while bringing new ideas to the table to improve workflow and time management
  • Must be located in the NYC Metro area and work in office 3-4 times per week as needed
