As Visual Merchandising Assistant 

  • Maintain and organize special collateral for new collections: stickers, installations shots, signage. Ordering materials with vendors, shipping to showrooms.
  • Assist with monthly launch packages, gathering samples, making thumbnails, organizing collection launch data.
  • Maintain document of in-showroom display rotations, updating after each collection launch.
  • Research install images for in-showroom tags and light box displays, reaching out to designers for hi-res and usage rights.
  • Update showroom furniture and accessory inventory weekly.
  • Help maintain showroom floor plans in InDesign to reflect current displays.
  • Keep log of updated showroom pictures with each change (new furniture, wallpaper, etc.)
  • Work with Furnishings Manager and Creative Services to proof, print, and send tags to showrooms for furniture, accessories, and antiques.
  • Assist Visual Merchandising Manager with coordination of furniture and antique photography for website.
  • Assist with various showroom projects/work orders (table skirts, pillow orders, wallpaper changes, vinyl installs, window changes) etc.
  • Manage the team’s sample library, adding all memos to correct categories, ordering missing samples, etc.
  • Assist with showroom and office renovations, this includes sourcing and ordering merchandising materials and helping with all aspects of install during set up weeks.
  • Assist with redlining floor plans and contractor bids post meeting to help keep team organized. Following up on unanswered questions from all parties to insure smooth installation.
  • Help team to facilitate FSCOs sustainability initiatives, collaborating on new shipping materials and collateral, and sourcing local recycling programs in each design center.

Job requirements


  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to multi-task and the willingness to be a team player
  • A self-motivated, proactive, fearless and positive attitude.
  • A passion for style, interiors, and all things design
  • Competency in Microsoft Office, including Excel. Basic knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop and AutoCAD is a plus.
  • An eagerness to learn while keeping up in a fast-paced environment
  • A degree in Interior Design, Visual Merchandising is preferred but not required.
